Suzanne Lane

President

A native New Yorker, Suzanne always imagined herself as a doctor. She attended NYU and within two years realized she was not cut out to be a medical professional, but to this day has an enduring fascination with medicine and science. The agency’s wide range of OTC and Rx clients has allowed her to satisfy both passions.

Suzanne had little experience in PR before founding The Lane Communications Group. She worked for two small agencies and when she began LCG she was a one-man band. Suzanne learned on the fly and quickly recognized if this fledgling company was to succeed, she needed a large corporate client. With tenacity and chutzpah, she approached Warner-Lambert, the company that then housed brands such as Listerine, Lubriderm and Schick and was awarded the Schick Personal Touch razor as her first major client. It was the first permanent razor ever developed specifically for women. As such, it sowed the seeds of how the agency approaches clients to this day - with editorial and consumer education at the forefront. The Schick brand turned into a 21 year relationship.

In her spare time, Suzanne has her eyes fixed on the sky. She has always been enamored with space and wishes she could afford a ticket on SpaceX. She was married briefly and has been blessed with many dogs and cats in her life. She even wrote about one and became a published author. One of her greatest pleasures is mentoring a remarkable staff and learning from them every day.
